UX Designer - mobile flows (Birmingham, AL)

Summit Drift Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
