UX Designer - mobile flows (Austin, TX)

Cedar Oak Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Austin, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
