UX Designer - mobile flows (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Pike Press Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
