UX Designer - mobile flows (Anchorage, AK)

Harborlight Ember Markets is a Anchorage retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
