UX Designer - mobile flows (Anchorage, AK)

Rivermark Ivory Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Anchorage design routes and schedules, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
