UX Designer - mobile flows (Albuquerque, NM)

Cedar Cobalt Insurance is an insurance company in Albuquerque with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
