UX Designer - design systems (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Amber Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
