UX Designer - design systems (Wichita, KS)

Westbrook Ashton Banking Services is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in loan files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
