UX Designer - design systems (Wichita, KS)

Westbrook Thistle Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Wichita, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
