UX Designer - design systems (Wichita, KS)

Silverline Loom Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Wichita area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 577 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
