UX Designer - design systems (Virginia Beach, VA)

Westbrook Corner Pharma is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for quality documentation, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around quality documentation that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in quality documentation. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
