UX Designer - design systems (Tucson, AZ)

Ironwood Haven Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in training materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
