UX Designer - design systems (Toledo, OH)

Fernwood Wilder Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
