UX Designer - design systems (Toledo, OH)

Harborlight Rook Press is a printer and publisher in Toledo serving local and national clients, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
