UX Designer - design systems (Toledo, OH)

Amberfield Thistle Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for clinical evaluations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
