UX Designer - design systems (Tampa, FL)

Greenridge Wilder Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Tampa. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
