UX Designer - design systems (Tampa, FL)

Fernwood Wilder Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Tampa. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in premium billing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
