UX Designer - design systems (St. Louis, MO)

Clearpath Rowan Health runs clinics and patient services around St. Louis. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around referrals that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
