UX Designer - design systems (Spokane, WA)

Nova Haven Learning Group is an education provider in Spokane serving students and families, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
