UX Designer - design systems (Spokane, WA)

Cedar Ember Pharma is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in release testing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
