UX Designer - design systems (Spokane, WA)

Harborlight Kestrel Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in claims. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
