UX Designer - design systems (Spokane, WA)

Rivermark Vale Financial serves customers across Spokane with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
