UX Designer - design systems (Seattle, WA)

Lumen Bright Press produces print and digital publications in Seattle, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in print quotes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
