UX Designer - design systems (Seattle, WA)

Amberfield Iron Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Seattle plant, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
