UX Designer - design systems (Savannah, GA)

Summit Quarry Arts Center Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
