UX Designer - design systems (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Clear Transit Planning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
