UX Designer - design systems (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Field Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in San Jose producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 176 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around cleanroom operations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
