UX Designer - design systems (San Jose, CA)

Greenridge Oak Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
