UX Designer - design systems (San Diego, CA)

Greenridge Vista Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from San Diego, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in account servicing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
