UX Designer - design systems (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood Beacon Financial Group serves customers across San Antonio with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
