UX Designer - design systems (Salt Lake City, UT)

Foxglove Lantern Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
