UX Designer - design systems (Salt Lake City, UT)

Lumen Ridge Medical designs and makes medical devices in Salt Lake City, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
