UX Designer - design systems (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Mill Arts Center and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
