UX Designer - design systems (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Northwind Kestrel Medical and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Reno. What you will do • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
