UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Redstone Thistle Pharma develops and makes medicines in Oakland. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around quality documentation that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in quality documentation. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
