UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Westbrook Harbor Banking Services is a community-focused bank in San Diego serving households and small businesses, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
