UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Highbridge Meadow Community Partners runs community programmes across Cincinnati. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
