UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Amberfield Quarry Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
