UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Fernwood Rook Medical designs and makes medical devices in Knoxville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
