UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Lumen Rook Markets serves neighbourhoods around Des Moines with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 114 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
