UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Wilder Pharma and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in release testing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
