UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Nova Cobalt Early Learning runs childcare centres in Honolulu caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
