UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Harbor Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
