UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Iron Insurance Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 398 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
