UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Bluepeak Nest Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Tulsa plant, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in bindery work. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
