UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Pine Community Partners Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
