UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Ridge Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 125 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
