UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Summit Vista Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Atlanta. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in promotions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
