UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Ember Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
