UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Foxglove Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Detroit design routes and schedules, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
